Zabaglione

Ingredients

  1. Strawberries
  2. Sweet Marsala
  3. 3 Eggs
  4. Granulated Sugar
  5. 1 Lemon
  6. White wine

 

Prepping List:

  1. 1 copper or zabaglione bowl
  2. Whisk
  3. Tablespoon
  4. Knife
  5. Serving plate

Cooking Directions:

  1. Separate 3 eggs – only keeping the yolks
  2. Add yolks to zabaglione bowl
  3. Add 3 tablespoons of sugar and 3 tablespoons of Marsala
  4. Wish the mixture in a circular motion over low flame
  5. When zabaglione triples in size, and is able to stick to the back of a spoon, it is finished
  6. Squeeze ¼ of a lemon into zabaglione

Serving Suggestion:

  1. Place strawberries on a serving dish or in a cup
  2. Using ladle, serve zabaglione over the strawberries
